Happy Pavilion

We think Tami and Mary christened this the “Happy Pavilion.”  Whenever Mary was around the plant, it is where she would go to smoke.  We don’t allow smoking inside the gate.  We are a chemical plant, after all.  Note the MSDS sheets in the lock box on the fence.  That’s for our local firefighters and is loaded with MSDS sheets for everything they might encounter inside the gate if they ever had to fight a fire at the plant.  Like so many other strange things, the “Happy Pavillion was simply part of the abandoned industrial park.  Its turnstile will let workers out, but not in.  It’s a throw back to a bygone era of surveillance cameras and security guards.  We sometimes lock the gate at night, but normally people just come and go as they please.
